 The holiday village Grønhøj Klit Ferieby is situated in the scenic and popular holiday area between Blokhus and Løkken.
Besides the individual houses the holiday village also contains a common building with swimming pool and sauna, at the free disposal of the tenants of the holiday village, as well as a coin-operated laundry with washing machine and tumbler. The common house is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
On the area of the holiday village you will also find a common tennis court, a basketball course (grass) as well as a playground.
Grønhøj Klit Ferieby gives relaxation and comfort pride of place. The beautiful beach, the good activities, the nearby sights and the varying hinterland with dune plantation, marshes, meadows and forests turn the area into an extraordinarily attractive holiday area.
A grocer's shop is available in the area, and in the nearby towns you will find good shopping opportunities.
Beach
The beach of Grønhøj belongs among the best in Denmark. High dunes with lyme grass shelter the fine, wide and sandy beach. The beach has the Blue Flag and you are allowed to bring your car to the beach.

Nature
The holiday village Grønhøj Klit Ferieby is surrounded by fertile, slightly hilly and very scenic landscapes with dunes, dune plantations, agricultural districts and forests.
Close to Grønhøj you can visit the lovely nature areas 'Lille Norge' and 'Kettrup Bjerge'. The beautiful forest and nature areas, which lead down towards the North Sea, invite walks and bicycle trips.
Activities
You can play tennis and basketball as well as make use of a swimming pool and a sauna in the holiday village.
The lovely North Sea beach invites bathing as well as beach and water sport activities. The scenic nature, surrounding Grønhøj, call on walks and bicycle trips.
The North Sea, the Put & Take fishponds of the area as well as the local lakes and streams provide the angler with good opportunities.
Around Grønhøj you can also play tennis and golf. Golf players can try out the 18-hole golf course in Løkken, among others. Løkken also offers activities like tennis courts, a bowling centre and a go-cart track.
From the 10 km long cliff in Nr. Lyngby, which varies from 30 to 100 metres in the height, you are able to paraglide (14 km).
Worth a visit
In Fårup Sommerland & Aquapark by the holiday town Blokhus you can make use of more than 50 interesting amusements for the whole family. When the admission ticket has been purchased, you have free access to all entertainments (9 km).
In the holiday town Løkken you can swim, buy fresh fish on the beach, enjoy the cosy town life, attend the manufacturing of sweets on the sweet factory of the town, experience charming fishing houses and a vivid culture life during the summer (9 km).
The beautiful, old monastery Børglum Kloster from the 1180'ies is situated behind Løkken, and here you will find atmosphere, exhibitions, a church, a herb garden and parklike surroundings among other things (15 km).
Excursion spots
Rubjerg Knude is a 90 metres high hill island, which was created by the inland ice during the last Ice Age. There is a good chance of experiencing birds of prey here. The lighthouse 'Rubjerg Knude Fyr' is partially buried in sand, erected in the year 1900 and taken out of operation in the year 1968 because of sand drift. There is a magnificent view of the sea and the area from here (18 km).
Visit the nearby idyllic fishing hamlet Lønstrup - a holiday town with atmosphere, cosy roads, galleries, shops, restaurants etc. (23 km).
Nordsømuseet in Hirtshals is famous for Europe's largest saltwater aquarium - Ocenariet, which holds 4.5 million litres. At Nordsømuseet you can experience about 60 different species of fish from the whole North Sea - and you can even touch some of them (40 km).
In the eagle sanctuary 'Ørnereservatet' by Tversted, you can get close to some of the world's largest eagle species and watch them get fed in the air (55 km).
