Tipperne

The scenic peninsular 'Tipperhalvøen' is located in the bottom of the inlet 'Ringkøbing Fjord' and is the residence of many birds. The area is preserved in anticipation of giving the water and wading birds an undisturbed breeding and resting place. Here you can observe birds like avocet, black-tailed godwit, lapwing, redshank, ruff, dunlin, oyster catcher, curlew, bar-tailed godwit, golden plover, duck, goose and swan. Tipperne can be visited a few hours a week, and from the 2 km long nature path as well as from the gazebo uttermost on the peninsular you can observe the magnificent bird life.
