The valley of Haderslev stretches across app. 25 km - from the mouth of the inlet Haderslev Fjord and westwards towards Vojens. Along the many paths you can experience the remains of mediaeval castles, the mill Tørning Mølle, the hydroelectric plant Christiandal Vandkraftværk, lakes, forests, an animal park as well as camp sites and places for bonfires. It is possible to fish in the lakes or sail in canoe on the pond Haderslev Dam and on the channel Tørning Kanal.
