Skagen Klitplantage
|
|
The dune plantation Skagen Klitplantage covers an area of 1,394 hectares and was established in the year 1888. With its magnificent location between 2 seas and its varying nature, this plantation is a beautiful example of the many dune plantations, which were laid out in the middle of the 19th century in order to protect the country from the westerly wind and the sand drift. Explore this inviting and charming nature area. During a walk here you will encounter the countries second largest drifting dune, merely surpassed by the dune Råbjerg Mile.
