Lille Vildmose & Vildmosecentret

The history behind the bog Lille Vildmose is several hundreds years old. The bog came into existence more than 1,000 years ago, an since then man has tried to cultivate it. Today, the peat of the museum is being processed and sold as potting compost to the pot plant industry. Visit Lille Vildmose, which provide you with scenic nature experiences year round. From the gazebo by the lake Tofte Sø you can observe birds of prey among other things. The magnificent old bog farm Vildmosegård from the year 1768 is situated in the centre of Lille Vildmose. Here you can spend a lovely day and make use of the tables, benches and grill. Furthermore, you can join a tour through the bog with a nature guide.
