Møns Klint

With its high chalk cliffs and the old beech forest that spreads to the cliffs, Møns Klint is one of the most famous and most visited scenic areas in Denmark. The impressive white chalk cliffs rise from the ocean and they are a tremendous sight both from the beach and from the cliff. The path system is comprehensive and well-kept. Descent from the parking ground by the cliff 'Store Klint'. The southern part of the cliff is rather low, and it is possible to go bathing from the coast immidiately to the north of the lighthouse. Towards north the country rises against the cliff forest.
