Kongsøre Skov

The scenic, 246 hectares forest Kongsøre Skov is situated by the inlet Isefjorden in the undulating and fertile moraine landscape of the area Odherred. The forest is named after the legendary king Kong Øre, which according to the legend was killed in Kalundborg and buried in the forest Kongsøre Skov. Apart from the fenced areas you have free access everywhere in the forest and on the beach. You can follow a 5 km long marked walking path in the forest. So take a deep breath and enjoy the magnificent nature!
