Sollerup Skov

You can reach the forest Sollerup Skov through Korinth, app. 5 km to the north of Faaborg. The forest is located in a hilly landscape and consists of both new and old coniferous trees and leaf-bearing trees. In the southern outskirts of the forest the pure stream Rislebækken flows, and here you can experience insects, which are only capable of living in entirely pure water. Slightly further south you will find the forest area Svanninge Bakker, which is of immense botanically interest. Both here and in Solerup Skov you can follow a number of walking paths. Try f.ex. the route from Sollerup Skov to the largest lake on Funen 'Arreskov Sø', which is app. 2 km long.
