Fosdalen

3 km behind the shores of the North Sea you will find Fosdalen - a unique peace of nature in northern Jutland. An idyllic stream flows through the densely overgrown gorge and a nature path leads you through the whole gorge. At the end of the gorge, the 30 metres high coastal cliff Lien rises. From here you can enjoy an outstanding view of the scenic area, which was preserved in 2009.
Fosdalen contains rare birds, insects and flowers, like orchids and globe-flowers, as well as a holy spring. Fosdalen is beautiful year round and offers more hiking routes, which lead you around in the scenic nature area.
Near Fosdalen you will find Naturcenter Fosdalen, where you can see an exhibition about the landscape of the area. The admission to the nature centre is free.
