Brændegård Sø

The lake 'Brændegård Sø' at the estate 'Brahetrolleborg Gods' is situated in forested surroundings by Korinth, about 9 km north-east of Faaborg. 'Brændegård Sø' is very shallow and therefore a popular and very well visited resort for birds, and among other things you will find the largest colony of cormorants in the country here. The birds are observed in the best way during sprint time, when the colony buzzes with activity. You can also be in luck and observe white-tailed eagles here.
