Christiansø is a part of Ertholmene - a cluster of islands, which are located app. 20 km directly north of Svaneke on Bornholm. Together with the island Frederiksø, Christiansø is the only inhabited island in Ertholmene. The rocky island represents a small community of app. 100 inhabitants, solely listed buildings as well as a cosy harbour. The nature is equally scheduled as a natural amenity and designated as Ramsar area in order to protect the marine birds and their habitat. During your visit to Christiansø you are able to join a guided tour and learn more about the culture, nature, present and history of the island. Show consideration when you walk in the conservation area. By Ertholmene you can also visit the bird sanctuary Græsholmen and experience Denmark's easternmost point. In order to get to Christiansø you have to go with the boat from Gudbjem or Allinge.
