Blåbjerg-Nyminde Klitplantage

The dune plantation 'Blåbjerg Klitplantage' comprises about 4,600 hectares and has its name after the mountain 'Det Blå Bjerg' (the blue mountain), which is the highest situated dune in Denmark (64 metres above sea level). The area offers an interesting nature with dunes, coastal hillsides, 'mountains', moor, brushwoods with oak and plantation. Here you will find a large population of red deer. The lovely nature can be experienced from some of the marked paths of the area.
