The museum in the town Oksbøl is the world’s largest of its kind and had in 2007 more than 10,000 visitors. The museum houses the world’s largest collection of Triangel fire engines and hand-drawn and horse-drawn fire-fighting vehicles dating back to about 1800. The museum collection is so comprehensive that it is included in the Guinness Book of Records. The collection also contains everything in fire-fighting equipment over 100 years - helmets, uniforms, badges, etc. In addition, the museum has a very large collection of model fire engines and fire-fighting equipment - a total of about 2,500 different items. In spring 2008, tanks and other military vehicles will move into a hall at 'Museet Danmarks Brandbiler' in Oksbøl. Museum facilities: Museum shop, restaurant/café.
