At Horsens Museum you can experience special exhibitions as well as permanent exhibitions. Look forward to visiting the display, concerning the Danish explorer Vitus Bering (born 1681 in Horsens), who in 1728 proved that Asia and America are two different continents. You can also enjoy the sight of the brimful silver room. At the museum you can also learn more about prehistoric Horsens, mediaeval Horsens as well as Horsens from 1870 and up till today. Children and simple souls can enjoy themselves in the toy show. Besides observing the old toys, you can also test the old games and copy the toys of the past. The objects are only waiting to be taken into use. Visit the museum shop as well. Here you can buy books about the different themes of the museum as well as buy copies of old jewellery.
