Herning Museum

At Herning Museum the development of the region is described by means of permanent exhibitions about moorland cultivation, the history of Herning, the antiquity as well as a attached open-air museum. The small open-air museum has been reconstructed with the smallholding 'Ane Maries Hus' from the 1830'ies, a binder room, an outdoor oven, a barn wing and old, domestic animals. You can bring your own lunch basket and enjoy your food in the old-fashioned and scenic surroundings.
