Herning Kunstmuseum

'Herning Kunstmuseum' is located in a round, white and very untraditional building, which is called 'Angligården'. The art museum displays a unique collection of works of domestic as well as international artists, like f.x. Manzoni, Asger Jorn and Richard Mortensen. The majority of the works originates from the time after World War 2. The collection consists of cobra and later, expressive art, concrete abstract art, conceptual art and contemporary art. Furthermore, varying exhibitions are arranged throughout the year. In connection with a visit to the art museum, you can visit the sculpture garden 'Skulpturhaven' and the geometrical garden 'Den Geometriske Have', which are both situated together with the art museum.
