Fanø Flisesamling

The tile collection 'Fanø Flisesamling' has been established in Sønderho's old dairy and contains a collection about the story of the tiles on Fanø. The collection consists of Dutch and Frisian wall tiles, which were brought home to Fanø by the sailors. The tiles are still very characteristic for Fanø, and most of them are decorated with subjects like vases, rosettes, ships, flowers, landscapes and herdsmen.
