The regional museum is housed in the farmhouse of the thatched farm Oldemorstoft with a history, which dates back to 1472. Even King Christian IV has visited this famous farm now and then when he travelled around. The rooms in the eastern part of the farmhouse appear like they did around 1850. Here you can learn more about the history of the gendarmerie from 1920 and have get an insight into the workday of a gendarme. You are informed about life, close to the border, and the significance of the border throughout the years. In the western part of the farmhouse you will find the exhibition 'Slaget ved Bov', covering the battle of Bov. South Jutland's largest agricultural museum is also a part of Bov Museum. This museum, which is located in two pyramidal halls, have more tan 10,000 objects, from which app. 5,000 are exhibited, at its disposal.
