Abildaa Brunkulsleje

The museum Abildaa Brunkulsleje has been established by a couple of former brown coal workers, who intended to inform of one of the large workplaces of the brown coal time. Here you can see how the excavation and daily life went on in the fields throughout the years of brown coal digging in the area. During the summer half the brown coal fields are vitalized. The fields are surrounded by a unique nature area, which invites walks. Abildaa Brunkulsleje is situated about 35 km from Herning.
