Trapholt

Trapholt - the museum of Danish pictorial art, handicraft and furniture design - was inaugurated in 1988 and extended in 1996. Today it is one of the largest museums of the provinces. The handicraft collection consists of pottery and textiles. The pottery collection counts as one of the most extensive in the country. After a cultural introduction to the art and perhaps a refreshment in the Café Trapholt, the nature surrounding the museum, invites a walk. Large forests lie close to the museum which can also brag of an outstanding view of Kolding Fjord.
