Tåsinge Skipperhjem & Folkemindesamling

The museum consists of 4 buildings. In the main house you will find the small grocer's shop of Esther Fredholm from the year 1917. Here you can also learn more about the unhappy love of Elvira and Sixten, which drove them both into the death in the year 1889. In the skipper house you can see how a fishing family lived in the 19th. century. In the new building you will find exhibitions with clothes and toys among other things. In the ropemaker's house you can see the ropewalk of Nielsine Nielsen as well as equipment, belonging to the place.
