Steno Museet

Steno Museet communicates the history of science. You can f.ex. learn how our world picture has changed over the years. The exhibition, which covers the history of science, is divided into a chronological and a thematic department. The chronological department offers an overview of the exact sciences from the antiquity and up to the 17th century, and the thematic department deals with areas like astronomy and time, surveys, optics, electromagnetism, nuclear physics as well as chemistry. At the museum you can also learn more about the development of the medicine from the antiquity and down to the present. Man has always tried to help the sick and wounded. Reserve a couple of hours for the fascinating world of Planetariet and let yourselves be seduced by the mysteries of the astronomy, or enjoy the fresh air of the herb garden. A large number of the contents in the herbs of the garden make the basis of modern medicine today.
