The museum, which is located in the old part of Odense, is the birthplace of H. C. Andersen. The house contains exhibitions with themes like life, time, man, art and works of the poet as well as a hall of memorials. Here you can admire the international editions of H. C. Andersen's works as well as a beautiful collection of visual artsA shop offers an extensive selection of works in more languages. The heart of the museum is the small half-timbered house on the corner.
