The fresh water museum Ferskvandsmuseet has been established in a beautiful wooden building close to the harbour of Ry. The exhibition illustrates geology, nature as well as culture-history. Aquaria, exhibition cases and posters show how animals and plants have adapted to life in an by the fresh waters. And after a tour indoor you can enjoy the scenic nature, surrounding the museum. The museum ship Gl. Turisten, which is used for presentation sails with groups, belongs to the museum.
