'Dansk Plakatmuseum' has a collection of posters from both Denmark and abroad, which makes a total of no less 300,000 posters. Here you are informed of the history of the poster - right from the simple message on the walls of the antiquity to the hand painted poster and the graphic, fully coloured poster, which have been printed in many copies. The posters were mainly used as a means of mediation of f.x. political messages, but some are also used as commercials and art. Furthermore, more varying travelling and special exhibitions are arranged on the spot every year.
