The town museum is not only a museum, as it takes an active part in the exploration of some of the historic periods. In the permanent exhibition you can learn more about the 1.200-years long history of Århus. Follow the development from a Viking town to a modern city. Furthermore, the museum is an attractive meeting place because of the varying exhibitions with different themes. The guided town walks, which are arranged from here, are also a special experience and shouldn't be missed.
