Skjoldborgs Hus
The writer and poet Johan Skjoldborg is known as the 'poet of the smallholders' and in his works he always took the part of the weakest in the society. His breakthrough took place in the year 1896 with the novel 'En Stridsmand' (a warrior). The childhood home of the writer has functioned as a museum since 1961, and the living rooms have been decorated as described in the autobiography of Skjoldborg 'Min Mindebog' (my book of memories) from 1934. In an exhibition case you can see some of the writer's personal possessions.
