Visit the Danish national gallery and experience Danish and foreign art from the 12th. century and up till today. The collections exhibit paintings, installation, graphic and sculptures. From Mantegna and Rubens to Eckersberg, Købke and Hammershøi, Matisse, Jorn and Kirkeby. Continuously new works of art are added to the collections, and in that way the museum is always worth a visit. In the glass-covered sculpture passage 'Skulpturgade' you can walk through 150 years of sculpture history and admire sculptures, shaped in marble, bronze, iron, wood and rock woll. In the large area you will also find a resting area, from which you can enjoy the beautiful view of the park Østre Anlæg. Throughout the year a number of events are arranged on the stage 'Scenen' - interesting for both children and adults.
