Reventlow-Museet Pederstrup

Reventlow-Museet on the manor house Pederstrup consists of 3 parts: The main building with the permanent exhibition, the park in English romantic style and the former riding stable, which have been use for special exhibitions among other things. The living quarters of the main building has been decorated with art, furniture and personal belongings from around the year 1800 - the era of the Reventlow family. In the basement you can see a kitchen of a large private house, which is equipped with a large iron kitchen range as well as copper kitchen utensils - entirely like in the 1880'ies. In the park you can admire the many rare trees, among others 350-years old oaks and a beech with long, hanging branches. Experience a basement, which was used as depository for provisions in older days. Look through the grating and see the large stones, of which the basement was build. From the small pavilion, which was formerly used for picnics, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the park and the lake.
