Rådhussamlingen

The town hall of Ribe is Denmark's oldest, still functioning town hall. The building was erected in 1496 and in 1708 it was taken over by the town and converted into a town hall. A small museum has been established in the former debtors' prison, and here you can see spiked maces, swords and thumbscrews among other things.
