Hadsund Egns Museum

Hadsund Egns MuseumAt the regional museum in Hadsund, which is also called 'Rosendal', you are informed about the periods, which have had a conclusive significance in relation to the formation of the local society in Hadsund. From the Renaissance you can see flowery glass, salt and lime manufacturing. Because of the large the enclosure movement and the scattering of farms, the society changed during the time of the large agricultural reforms. During the period 1890-1920 Hadsund developed from a less significant commercial town to a town with a provincial town with a railway station. In the 1960'ies and 70'ies the large industrial boom took place in Hadsund.
