Museumscenter Hanstholm

The museum bunker is one of the largest of the bunkers, which were build by the Germans in Denmark with an area of about 3,000 m2. The large canon, which was formerly situated in the centre of the bunker, has not been preserved, but a number of the rooms in the bunker have been restored in the original style. Here you can experience exhibitions, which illustrate the story of the fortifications. At the documentation museum, which is a part of the museum centre, you can see objects like f.x. an anti-tank gun, an airscrew from a B-17 bomber as well as exhibitions with the original uniforms, effect, belonging to the everyday life of both soldiers and the population as well as a selection of weapons.
