Egnsmuseet på Sønderskov

The museum on the manor house 'Sønderskov' is a regional museum of local history. The old manor house, which is situated 25 km east of Ribe, is recently restored and contains unique frescos, linen tapestry, which is painted with oil, the runic stone from Malt, an archaeological collection, a textile collection, an exhibition about building craft and classical craft methods, a collection of jamb stoves and garden vases among other things. In the baroque garden a small section from the manor houses vegetable and herb garden has been reconstructed. A restaurant with the name 'Herregårdskælderen' has been established in the rustic cellar of the manor house.
