Mosbjerg Museum

The farms 'Bjørnager' and 'Højen' are situated in a lovely landscape with high hills and deep ravines. Here you can study animals and plants as well as the old culture landscape, where you can find numerous traces of old habitations, which resided here about 6000 years ago - in the beginning of the late stone age. At the exhibition on the farm 'Højen' you can learn more about the nature and culture history of the area, or you can follow a marked walking path. Not far from 'Højen' you will find the smallholding, which is still run like in the beginning of the 20th. century. Here you will find domestic animals of the old breed, and during the Danish summer and autumn holidays, smallholding families occupy the house. A large agricultural exhibition with machines and tools from the period between 1900 and 1950 as well as many pictures of the weekday in the country from this time has been established on the farm 'Bjørnager'.
