Michael & Anna Anchers HusThe house of Michael and Anna Ancher as well as the building 'Saxild Gaard', which is situated in connection to the house, create the settings for an interesting museum. The beautiful artists' home has been restored and is continuously maintained by means of a fund, which has been established by the daughter of the artist couple. The house as well as the furniture, paintings and other inventory appear broadly as it did in the year of Anna Ancher's death in 1935. 'Saxilds Gaard' is the neighbour of the Ancher house and has since 1989 been a part of the museum. Here varying exhibitions are presented - mainly with works, which are owned by the fund of Helga Ancher.
