Lokalhistorisk MuseumThe museum is situated in the village Avderød in a school dating back to 1723, a so-called 'Rytterskole' (Danish primary school for the children of peasants who served in a royal horse regiment).
King Fredrik 4th erected Rytterskoler in all Denmark. In the museum you will find objects of local brickfields and tile manufacturing and of agriculture and educational matters. Experience i.a. a classroom fitted up as when your grandparents or great-grand grandparents went to school.
