Langelands Museum

In a lovely building from 1905 you can experience the permanent exhibition of Langeland Museum. Exhibition objects from the antiquity and down till today are displayed here. Se f.ex. the interesting and dramatic finds from the Middle Ages, which come from a wreck, which was loaded with tile, as well as from the excavation of the fishing hamlet Sandhagen, which is located north of Bagenkop.
Equally you can admire objects from the castle Tranekær Slot as well as personal possessings of the two famous men from Langeland: H.C. Ørsted, who establish the electromagnetism, and Peder Rasmussen, who invented the revolver rifle.
