Knud Rasmussens Hus
This house was used as a workplace by the polar explorer Knud Rasmussen. It is located close to the lighthouse Spodsbjerg Fyr near Hundested and offers a view of the Kattegat. The house was build by Knud Rasmussen himself during the period 1916-1918, and from the outside it appears modest, but inside it is both spacious and luxurious. This is where Knud Rasmussen planned his Thule expeditions and wrote his interesting reports and scientific works about his expeditions. The house is still furnished with its original furniture, and in 1939 the house was converted into a Knud Rasmussen museum.Knud Rasmussens Hus
