Kirsten Kjær´s Museum

This private art museum has been established in an old, restored smallholding, and here you will find a large collection of painting and drawings (especially portraits) by the artist Kirsten Kjær (1893-1985). Varying exhibitions by Danish and foreign artists as well as more or less permanent exhibitions with works of the house artists are arranged in 7 side galleries. Furthermore, 2-3 artist homes, a guesthouse, a cafeteria as well as workshops for the graphic arts and bronze sculptures are part of the art centre. In the garden you can see varying exhibitions, and courses as well as concerts are arranged in the museum. Look forward to experiencing an active art centre with working artists. The entry is free (however, your are welcome to make a contribution, if you like). You can bring a lunch basket and enjoy it in the cafeteria or in the garden.
