Industrimuseet

The main stress is laid on the conditions of the work places. You will find lithographic printing works, brewery, bookbinding works, forge, clog maker's workshop, homes of the workers, driving engines, telephones, tobacco factory and an exhibition about the workers and the industrial environment. The housing situations and their gardens, if any, are led back to about 1880, 1920, 1930, 1950, 1960/70 and to the 1990s. A museum street from the 1950s are also on the programme. The permanent exhibition about the transportation of the craftman society - the horse-drawn carriage - creates amusing memories and good stories. Industrimuseet is situated at the late power plant and gasworks of Horsens municipality.
