Hjemstavnshus Arnborg

The native house 'Hjemstavnshus Arnborg' is a mixture of a nature centre and a local museum. The building of the museum was constructed in the year 1890 and is scenically situated by the old church of Arnborg and by the slopes of the stream 'Rind Å'. The house has been restored, but appears in its original style. Inside the museum you will find a centre for mediation of information about the sights and the magnificent nature of the area with i.a. beautiful moor plantations, meadows and streams, which are abounding in fish. It is described how the moor has chanted, been cultivated and planted during the years. In connection with the nature centre you will find a room with varying exhibitions, containing objects, which relate to the trade and culture life of the region.
