Historiecenter Dybbøl Banke

The history centre 'Dybbøl Banke' is situated in a beautiful glacial landscape with a view of the inlet 'Flensborg Fjord'. The centre has been established in a 1,000 square metres large and very unique, architect-designed house from 1990. The centre is an experience and information centre, which deals with the war in 1864. You will find yourselves right in the middle of the events (the war) here. Go under cover in the Danish trenches, meet with the tired soldiers, experience the vivid stories, the grenades, the canons, the exhibitions, the activities, the films and the reconstructions from the war. In the shop of the centre you can purchase books about the war in 1864.
