Henner Friisers Hus

Henner Friisers Hus, which was erected in app. 1580, was restored and converted into a museum. Here you can see an exhibition regarding Middelfart and a model of the town from the year 1801. 2 beautiful living rooms as a collection of Staffordshire dogs inform about the everyday life in the town in the 19th century. At the museum you can also see 'Emilies Hatte' - a unique collection of more than 150 lady's hats from the period 1870 to 1960, as well as a collection about the time when Middelfart was the centre of the Danish porpoise catch.
