Harteværket

In the small village Harte, just west of Kolding, you will find Harteværket, which is the first larger hydroelectric plant in Denmark. At that time electricity was still a luxury item. Harteværket was constructed between 1918 and 1920, and it is still functioning. Great importance was attached to the details during the construction.
