Håndværkernes Hus, Hjørring

The house of the skilled craftsmen Håndværkernes Hus is a workshop, where many of the old trade traditions are demonstrated. Among other things you can see how the wood turner manufactures peg tops and wooden bowls, how the blacksmith demonstrates old forging and how the potter creates dinner sets according to the raku method. Learn more about how you telephoned in the old days or visit the weaver and the butcher. Furthermore, the house contains a small cosy café, where you can appease your hunger.
