Museum Langelandsfort

During the cold war in the years 1953-1993 the fort 'Langelandsfortet' was in charge of the surveillance of the Baltic area and had the military command of the area. The more recent hangars on the former fort today contain two flights - a Polish MIG 23 and a Danish Draken. Furthermore, you can experience the huge canons (150 mm) and in a museum, which has been established in an old bunker, you can see the emplacements with the narrow crew's quarters, storage rooms with grenades and other equipment.
