Faaborg Museum

The collection of paintings and sculptures in Faaborg Museum was primarily collected by Funen artists, who founded the museum in 1910 together with the canner Mads Rasmussen in Konservesgaarden (the cannery) in Faaborg. The present museum, which is designed by the architect Carl Petersen, was opened in 1915. Behind the arched front you will find a couple of colourful exhibition rooms. The garden of the museum, which was laid-out in the summer of 1997, is also worth a visit.
