Frøslevlejerens Museum

Frøslevlejren was built in 1944 and is the best preserved German prison camp in Western Europe. The hutments of the camp have been restores and the main watchtower as well as two hutments has been established as a museum. A part of the rooms appear like in 1945. In the other rooms you can experience exhibitions about the history of the camp, the everyday life of the prisoners, the German surveillance as well as the deportation of prisoners. In spite of the restoration it is still possible to get an impression of how the camp looked when it was in use.
