Fjordcenter Jyllinge

At this museum you will find an exhibition about hunting and fishing in around the inlet Roskilde Fjord as well as live in the country in Gundsø. Furthermore, you can learn more about the era before man began writing down history. For thousands of years the area, surrounding Gundsø, has been rich in grave mounds and cromlechs, which originate from the stone, bronze and iron age. The exhibition of the museum contains a number of objects from the past, such as old tools, weapons, hair clips and pots. At Fjordcenter Jyllinge you can also experience a garden ground with herbs and medicine plants, a terrace, where you can relax and enjoy the view of the inlet, as well as a vessel collection.
