Egnsmuseet Færgegaarden

The regional museum Færgegården is a culture-historical museum for the municipalities Jægerspris, Frederikssund and Skibby. The museum is situated in the building Færgegaarden, which originates from 1839 and belongs to the estate Jægerspris Gods. Here you can see an interesting archaeological collection, mainly from the early Stone Age (the years 12800 B.C. to 3900 B.C.). From the Bronze Age you can f.x. see 4 stones with hand marks, which are typically only found in North Sealand. Furthermore, you can experience exhibitions from the Danish farmer culture of recent times.
